Harvesting and sorting Pinot Noir

Hard work today sorting the Pinot Noir. We had uneven bunches, some of them with millerandrage.

Millerandrage occurs when some berries failure  to fully develop in a normal bunch. The result is uneven grape size. One of its causes is cool weather during flowering, which was particularly important this season.

Finishing sorting, grapes were partially destemmed and sent to cold soak.
